If you're a baseball fan, then this part of the year is prime time for you. With beautiful weather, the smell of popcorn and freshly cut grass, what more could you ask for? On a game day at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro, North Carolina, I found the perfect opportunity to grab a few spring essentials and get some shots for your style inspiration.
Wearing a tie, whether its a bow or a neck tie, that's in-season is a step that will take your style to the next level. This spring-plaid bow tie is my favorite one in my closet, as it has navy as an anchor with a pop of lime green and pink to add flavor.
Do you see that blue spot on my right foot? Good; its a no-show sock, and if you're not wearing them gentlemen *pinches nostrils* then we'll fix that in an upcoming post (apologize to your shoes while you're at it).
When wearing a navy blazer, never be afraid of color when it comes to your tie, shirt and accessories. Think of the navy blazer as a 'navy canvas' and the rest is up to you to paint.
I'll try to keep white pants out of the picture for a while, but you can never go wrong with them. In the fall/winter, dark denim is basically an every day staple; but in the warmer months, count on white denim to be in the conversation more often than not.
A pocket square is my favorite way to express myself. If one wears a bow tie, then that speaks for itself. Pocket squares on the other hand are what you can have fun with (unless you're in a business environment).
