1. Utilize Peacoats and Top Coats, They Are Your Friend.
Check out the look below. Coats serve two purposes in fashion, they look amazing and they keep you warm. The only two things you should worry about this winter. My top companies for outerwear are Perry Ellis, Joseph A Bank, and Express. Tweet me at @DressedStudent if you have any questions about where I got any of the items in this post from.
2. Scarves, Scarves, and More Scarves.
Scarves have saved my neck numerous times. It’s an easy way to make any outfit pop while battling the cold. Man (or woman) up, grab a scarf like the one below from Ties.Com.
3. If the Occasion Permits, Ditch the Suit and Tie
Street Style is probably my favorite menswear, it’s the most expressive. Boots or sneakers, with some chinos and a sweater is always a solid look. Also, Hanes Sweat Sets are the best and really warm. Not to mention, you can look really good in them .
4. Layers, Don’t Forget About Your Sweater.
Adding a layer to your outfit is easy with sweaters, it’s quick and creates the perfect *hint of tie* look. I love quarter zips under a blazer. Practically all my sweaters are either from J.Crew orAeropostale. More than anything, it keeps you warm, depending on how tightly your jacket fits, adding a sweater may prevent you from buttoning the jacket which is perfectly okay
