Having the perfect colors to wear with pretty much any top, along with the comfort to keep me warm on chilly evenings is the combination I look for when shopping for chinos. With a few rolls at the cuff, you're sure to have a dressy look that'll take you from work day to the post-work day.
The simply and easy route when it comes to chinos is to stick with neutrals. This includes white, tan, black, grey, and olive green (trend spoiler alert). Being a gentleman building a wardrobe, you want to make sure you have the foundation to play with prints up top and expand your sneaker game down low.
Neutral chinos are your blank canvas to be able to do so. Don't get too comfortable though - life's too short for boring pants.
There are two options to go with when wearing neutral chinos: 1) Go simple with a plain tee, making a statement as a simple man. 2) Play with prints to remind the world that its summer, and you know it.
An Aztec print like the one I'm sporting above compliments the brown well and is a print that's great for tee shirts (also with light hoodies if you're the skinny jeans with vans type of guy).
This is a sponsored post in affiliation with rue21. The shirt and chinos were gifted to me by the brand.
