Just because its still winter doesn't mean you have to wait until April to start looking 'good'. With a few layering basics, you can slowly strip off layer by layer by layer as the new season approaches without compromising style. If we were having this conversation a few years ago, we'd be talking about a simple sweater, a huge coat and bland khakis. Now we're in the age of layering 2.0 with slim silhouettes that still flatter your body. Start off with a slim-fit oxford like this one from uniqlo to keep it classy. From there, layering staples in neutral tones such as hunter green and navy will look great on any guy. For the beginners we went with brown chinos down low, but if you're ahead of the game then go with a light olive chino.
