What do the cities Paris, Milan, London and NYC represent? Not only are they the cities on my travel bucket list (except NYC is my future living place) but they're fashion meccas of the world. Any other country, city or region other than the ones listed above get their style from the four cities that I listed.
Back in the day (1858) the french Navy required their sailors to wear blue and white stripes. A very flattering color scheme, it grew into a popular patters and trend in the fashion world today. This pattern is known as the Breton stripe and is one of the biggest marks the French have made in the clothing industry.
I decided to pair my breton t-shirt with a pair of denim shorts (yes, they're back) with a cuff to add flair. If you want to add a bit of personality to your outfit, cuffs are a great way to do so on your shorts, t-shirt sleeves, and pants.
One of my favorite spots in Winston-Salem is Stratford Village. I love where I'm from, but one thing that I don't like is the lack of 'Stratford Villages' to have a place to walk around, people watch and grab a bite to eat; definitely a must-do if you're ever in the area.
