Unless you're 6'8 with the physical prowess of a basketball God, there isn't much you can learn from Lebron James. Like 99.9% of the population, all you can do is sit back and say 'ooo, ahhh'.
The King of Style
If you pay attention to The King off the court, there are quite a few things you can learn sartorially. Lebron James is one of the best dressed players in the league, and despite the distastefulness the media finds in his green blazer, his outfit after the game 4 loss to the warriors proves it.
First of all, what the NBA and other news outlets don't know is that green is trending this summer, plus this is a masculine shade of green that compliments the blue trousers he wore perfectly. This is how you dress to make a statement without being a peacock.
Lebron did great in watching his proportions. The small geometric print in his tie compliment the large, bold stripes in his shirt well. Always remember that the proportions in your shirt and tie should be the complete opposite.
Small print in the tie = large print in the shirt. Small print in the shirt = large, bold print in the tie.
The power of contrast
The power of contrast is real, especially when wearing a statement piece such as a green blazer. Contrasting accessories allow the statement piece to speak on its own. The dark jacket buttons, pocket square, and watch are all pieces that bring the look together...making this outfit easier on the eyes. Will Lebron come back with a better outfit (and game) for game 5? Will Draymond Green plot hitting on another player's groin? Stay tuned to find out.
