If you're a creative or an artist then you know the intoxicating feeling of having the world be your inspiration. Living in Winston-Salem, the lack of city-like attractions is made up for in the rich culture in the arts. I couldn't appreciate this growing up, but now art galleries, wall murals, and other forms of expression play a huge factor in my outfits.
Don't be afraid to play with patterns, even something as abstract as camouflage (which I was recently inspired by to get my hands on). It's all about complimenting standout pieces like this vest, with conservative pieces that serve as an anchor (neutral pants, dark accessories).
As a side note about the post title: A lot of people ask me (in a weird way) why I keep my iPhone on military time. I'm always looking for ways to get out of my comfort zone in every aspects of my life. From the way I make posts and workout, to the route that I take to work and the type of coffee that I choose to drink. Why do things the same way every day like everyone else?
Could you pull this off? How has the world inspired your outfit? Let's talk about it in the comments below!
