Luck and opportunity are things you create by mixing hard work and faith, not just something that happens. I turned 20 today and I'm just realizing that the reason that the people we look up to seem so lucky is because of the many hours invested in silence.
Think of it this way; if you're a salesman who only talks to ten people a day about your product, what are the chances of you succeeding? Pretty low. On the other hand, if you're the guy who talks to 100 people a day about your product (a bit of a stretch, but focus on the lesson) then you're chances of getting "lucky" or a "break" are dramatically higher.
Pursuing your dreams with a negative state of mind is unlikely to bring you any shots of luck or opportunities. When it does come, you simply won't be prepared. When we prepare for opportunity while pursing our dreams as if we know they're coming, then good things are inevitable to happen on our journeys. "Its better to be prepared for an opportunity and not have one than to have one and not be prepared" - Whitney Young Jr.
I'm fortunate enough to have an amazing opportunity come my way of being a Sprezzabox Style Influencer after admiring the ones who have came before me and following Sprezzabox for 9 months since the beginning of my blogging journey.
You can expect 2 posts a months with me wearing accessories from that month's box and how you could benefit from their monthly subscription plan (just $25 a month *gasp*). Considering that this month's box has a retail value of $114, I'd say its not an opportunity to let pass by.
This is a post in affiliation with Sprezzabox, the #1 men's subscription box.
