The Black Mamba had an incredible 20 year run with the Los Angeles Lakers and in incredible finish to his career. To put the icing on the cake, scholarship dollars are sky high with the legend appearing in commercials left and right. It seems like Kobe's making all of the right moves - except for the style mistake he made at the 2016 AFI Life Achievement Awards.
I'm not sure what's going on here... whether he tied his bow tie too tight, or something is going on under the collar of his shirt. Everyone around the 6'6 legend is supposed to be looking up at him - not his bow tie.
If you look closely, you'll notice that his bow tie is pointed upwards. It not only looks tacky, bud distracts from what is otherwise known as the perfect red carpet look. When you're getting ready for a big summer gala or hitting the red carpet (if you're a super-mega Hollywood star..I mean hey, you never know who reads this blog) make sure that your bow tie is facing forward. Its supposed to draw attention to your handsome face, not actually look up at your face.
